The game

You play as the owner of a newly created network commissioning service, You will be called to offices where you will be tasked with installing network hardware to support the needs of your client's businesses.

Your clients have many demands as part of their requests, they're paying you for the job but they want it done quickly, They want everything to work correctly and they definitely do not want to go over budget. If your clients lose your trust, they may cut your pay and stop calling you for new jobs.

Order, Install, Configure and Maintain equipment, sustain client relations and stay within the budget on each job to ensure you don't lose your clients as you improve your standing and inventory in 'Network Engineer Simulator'.

The History

More than a year after setting out to create ORION, We realised that we'd started the project too early. We aren't ready to create such an in depth project yet so we're going to tackle some smaller challenges first before we have the experience required to meet our own expectations of what that project should be. ORION has been placed on hold for now and we will be continuing it in the future.

This project is inspired by a field that some of our team have had involvement in as part of the IT field, We've had experience with this job role and taken training as part of our development to improve these skills. With existing companies, they typically already have pre-existing server rooms and we would never get to experience a full commissioning and install of all of the equipment; In a lesser acknowledged and interesting role, this always felt like a shame, we wanted a way to simulate this experience... such as a game!

This is quite self indulgent, a singleplayer experience with management, Installation and configuring equipment; We hope you enjoy it as much as we're excited to make it.
